IEEE Education Society Women in Engineering (WIE) and Young Professional (YP) Track
The IEEE Education Society WIE YP Tracks are designed to create an inclusive, participatory space where early-career women in Engineering Education, researchers, students, and young professionals can strengthen their research and career capabilities while imagining new possibilities for engineering education in an AI-enabled world. The track responds to the importance of supporting emerging professionals who came to present the papers and nearby education society members who shall not only to participate in technical communities, but also to develop confidence, visibility, networks, and pathways to leadership.
The Women in Engineering workshop focuses on research career planning, professional identity, mentoring, and progression from early-career participation to research leadership. The Young Professionals workshop uses a collaborative poster-design challenge to explore how artificial intelligence shall transform the future universities and impact the affairs. Both workshops emphasize active learning, peer exchange, interdisciplinary teamwork, and practical outputs rather than lecture-only delivery.
